About The Editor:
E. Patrick Shea practices with the Corporate Recovery and Restructuring Group with Gowlings in Toronto, Canada where his practice focuses on advising Canadian and international clients involved in insolvencies and insolvency-related matters. A frequent writer on insolvency-related topics, he has published in Canada, the United States, Germany and Japan, and has spoken at insolvency conferences in Canada and internationally. Mr. Shea is a Vice-Chair of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association’s Insolvency Committee and for the past three years has been an Instructor for the Insolvency Section of the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Bar Admission Course. He has been involved in a number of high profile liquidations and reorganizations advising debtors, creditors and insolvency practitioners.
